Vivo V29e: The Selfie Expert Smartphone Now Available in India

The mid-premium Vivo V29e with a 50MP selfie camera has been officially launched in India. The business designed the new device specifically for photography and budget-focused customers, and it promises several impressive specifications. Key highlights of the V29e include a front camera with auto-focus that promises detailed and sharp photos. At the same time, a 64MP primary camera is also included on the back with optical image stabilization. The company claims that it can even capture night-time portraits with ease.

Aside from the camera, the V29e is also 5G enabled. This allows the phone to access faster internet speeds when connected to a 5G network, which is useful for streaming video content or playing games. It can also transmit data at twice the speed of 4G LTE. On the software side, the V29e runs on Android 13 with Vivo’s FunTouch OS 13 user interface.

The V29e features a sleek and eye-catching design like other recent Vivo devices. The front of the smartphone is dominated by a significant notch for the selfie camera, and it has minimal bezels on all sides. The back of the device is coated in glass and features a dual-tone finish. The maroon-colored back panel transitions into black, a visual that will surely attract buyers.

The smartphone will be available in two color variants: Arctic Red and Arctic Blue. The latter variant is the more intriguing option, as it is accompanied by a “color-changing” feature that changes the hue of the back panel to match the surrounding environment.

Regarding hardware, the Vivo 29e is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC codenamed Holi. It is an octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.2GHz. It is paired with 8GB of RAM, providing ample space for multitasking and gaming. The phone will also run HD and UHD video content without any issues.

Vivo’s latest V-series offering is now available for pre-booking on Flipkart. The phone will go on sale starting on September 7. Pre-booking offers include an instant Rs 2,500 discount for HDFC and SBI cards and up to 10 percent cashback and exchange benefits.

The price of the Vivo V29e starts at Rs 26,999. Buyers will have the choice of buying it with either 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage or 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone will be sold online and through select retail stores nationwide. Moreover, the phone will be available at special launch offer prices until September 12.
